To the End of 2012

2012 was a very eventful year for me - it's the year I got engaged, started this blog, seen more places, reached 100 followers (I know, it's not a lot, but I'm finally out of the tens, haha!). It has been a fun ride (most of the time). And hey, the world didn't end! So praise God for that - I hope this year will bring more awesome activities, ideas and realizations in life for me, and for all of you as well.

And although I totally bailed on posting the tutorial I promised yesterday (because some things came up), I promise I will post more..erm, religiously. So anyway, cheers to the first year to not contain a repeated digit since 1987! haha, and have an awesome celebration everyone! Start up the fireworks! :)

DIY: Easy Bow Napkin Rings

easy-cheap-bow-napkin-ring-tutorial

A while back I saw some cute metal bow napkin rings in Target for about $1.99. I loved them - and although it was a plus that they were metal, I was pretty sure I could DIY it for less, but with cheap materials. I thought about it - I kind of have this issue about committing to permanent decor (my style evolves/changes a lot), and thought and thought and thought. By the time I wanted to buy at least one so I can make it into an accessory instead, they were gone. Bleh. So here I ended up DIYing them after all. Haha. Read on o.o

FREE PRINTABLE: More Christmas Tags, a Card and a Liebster Award

It is that time of the year when everybody's so busy - even ones who aren't usually so. I've been prepping gifts and decorating that it's been driving me nuts. I did have time to make more tags - I do love making them. So here they are!

DIY Christmas Giftables: Cosmic Necklaces

I love making my own sparkly jewelry. Often I get inspired by pieces I see online (that are ridiculously expensive or ridiculously easy to make) and when I saw these earrings at Urban Outfitters, I was pretty sure I could make my own with materials I already had. So I DIYed yet again. These are so easy to make and you won't even be ashamed of giving them out. So read on and try it out!

DIY Christmas Giftables: Stenciled Eye Glasses Case

It is my mission to share cute things with my family, friends and the world - one step at a time. This case is actually for my future aunt-in-law, who loves cats (everybody in my fiance's family loves cats) and wears glasses. It's really easy and inexpensive to craft and would make for a very thoughtful handmade gift. Try it out!
